I am a fifth year Ph.D. Candidate at the University of California, San Diego in the Department of Political Science. I am joining the Department of Government at Uppsala University as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Michigan State University as an Assistant Professor of Political Science in American Politics.
My dissertation assesses Muslim American political representation, discrimination, and group formation.
I received my J.D. in 2012 from the University of San Francisco School of Law and my B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2009 where I double majored in Political Science and French.
